MDCAT

Medical & Dental College Admission Test

Introduction

MDCAT is a combined admission test for Medical & Dental Colleges designed as per the admission criteria set by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC). MDCAT in Punjab is being conducted and monitored by University of Health Sciences (UHS) www.uhs.edu.pk for all public and private sector medical colleges.

The students of F.Sc. Pre-Medical are required to pass the test based on major subjects of Biology, Chemistry & Physics. The test format is based on objective type MCQs.
MDCAT preparations are crucial for students because they never get trained in attempting objective exams but subjective lengthy exams during F.Sc. studies. The marking criterion for MDCAT is also very tricky, including negative marking procedure. At SAATH, we ensure that the students get best of study material i.e. MCQs and tips for test attempt. This guidance begins from SAATH free seminars and exclusive coaching sessions for MDCAT & ECAT.

PMDC admission merit formula includes the following ratio:

F.Sc: 40%
Entry Test: 50%
Matric: 10%
